シードされた「iOS 5」（build 9A334）はGM版と記されており、パブリックリリースに向けた最終版を意味する。
「iOS 5」は10月12日（現地時間）に一般公開される予定だ。対応デバイスは、iPhone 3GS/4/4S、iPod touch（第3世代以降）、iPadとなっている。
