Oracleは24日（現地時間）、クラウドベースの顧客対応サービスRightNow Technologiesを約15億ドルで買収すると発表した。2011年内または2012年初めまでの買収完了を目指す。
RightNowはクラウド型の顧客経験ソリューションを提供する顧客管理支援企業で、人工知能の技術をベースにした「ナレッジベース」によって、顧客がWebやSNS、コンタクトセンターを通じて解決策を簡単に入手できるような仕組みを提供している。
